About the artist
EMMA VARGA spent her childhood in Zala county, where she started drawing and painting flowers, bushes and trees. As an adult she moved to Budakeszi to work at a sanatorium, where she continued drawing pictures of the rich vegetation of the park. She was also asked by friends to paint pictures about exotic flowers. From 1978 onwards she was requested to contribute to the art work of some botanical books. She used all chances to draw plants and this passion guided het to the first orchid exhibition.
